Back in Ithaca, back behind my desk in the language resource center, and back to a regular blogging schedule. I feel that a summary of the last few months would be insufficient, if at all telling. Instead I'd like to try my hand at transcribing relevant journal entries, a la Nick Piombino in the lazy summer days to come.

Right now I'm dying to finish my book on tape, The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder, Insanity, and the Making of the Oxford English Dictionary. I'm gaining an infinitely greater appreciation for dictionaries.
